Lisa Briand, President
Lisa Briand has over 19 years’ experience in model merchandising and builder marketing. Prior to UBS, Lisa served as National Sales Manager with Furniture Brands International’s Builder division, which installed hundreds of model homes for the Nation’s top home builders across the US. She has been involved in NAHB for 12 years and her team designed the Award Winning New American Home and Professional Builder Magazine’s Show Village Homes at IBS for 6 years. A graduate of the University of Miami, she lives in Portland, OR.
Deanna Dickinson, Vice President of Design
Deanna has over 25 years’ experience in the design industry. She is a third-generation interior design professional who grew up helping her mother and grandmother on their projects while working summers in the family retail furniture business. She has held design positions in local and national companies specializing in model home merchandising, residential design and commercial design. She has received several “best interior design “awards. She was part of the design team for the National Association of Home Builders’ New American Home in Orlando, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Fine arts in Interior Design from Appalachian State University in 1989 and resides in Hickory, NC.
Serenity Dawn Snow, Senior Designer
Dawn brings her passion for interior design and merchandising to UBS with over 15 years in the design field. She has multiple award winning model homes in various markets throughout the country. She incorporates her love of travel into her design esthetic. Her design portfolio includes single family, multi family, active adult, and clubhouses. After attending Georgia College & State University she settled in Atlanta were she currently resides.
Emily Maier, Designer
Emily realized her passion for interior spaces at an early age when she began devoting her time to architectural and floor plan magazines. After graduation from The Art Institute of Colorado, she began her career in model home merchandising, real estate staging, and managing complete construction projects. Being raised in Colorado has given Emily a passion for the outdoors. She especially loves to golf, and transfers that passion in her designs for clubhouses. Emily was invited to design a space for Denver Life Magazine’s Designer Show house. While she has 9 years of experience across the country on design projects, she currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona and enjoys the casual elegance of the west.
Dannielle Hoffman, Designer
With over 10 years of experience, Dannielle offers a genuine ability to guide people through the sometimes difficult process of designing an interior space. After graduating from the Art Institute of Las Vegas with a Bachelors of Interior Design, she had the opportunity to work on multiple prominent projects including Sullivan Square in Las Vegas, the Roosevelt Lofts in Los Angeles and the Stone Canyon model home and Parade of Homes. She thoroughly enjoys developing a relationship with her clients and helping them to determine their needs and wants and transform those desires into reality. Dannielle is based in San Antonio, TX.
Megan Snyder, Designer
Megan’s interest in interior designer began at an early age when she accompanied her family to yard sales and auctions always on the hunt for unique pieces. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from the International Academy of Design and Technology, and is a LEED Green Associate with the U.S. Green Building Council. Megan has interned with Nina Campbell in London, worked as a visual stylist, and was on staff with both family owned and national home builders. She loves reclaimed materials, vintage pieces and mixing textures and patterns. Megan currently lives in Saint Louis, MO and spends her downtime creating custom furniture and traveling.
Sarah Marshall, Designer
Sarah Marshall joined the design team in March of 2014, living in Northeast Ohio. She graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelors of Arts in Interior Design. She has a background in Kitchen and Bath design, where she gained valuable construction knowledge. She also worked as an in-store designer at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries where she helped clients choose a color scheme and style that fit their personalities. She loves color and tries to incorporate it in many ways in her design, through artwork, accent furniture and lots of textiles. Her love for design started at a young age, and grew when she was allowed to re-design her childhood bedroom.
Alisha Goggans, Designer
Alisha has over 10 years of design experience. She has a strong background in model home merchandising, hospitality, and furniture design. Her client list includes many top 10 builders, Hilton hotels, as well as numerous top assisted living facilities. She has completed numerous high profile projects including The New American Home and Professional Builder Magazine’s Show Village, 2012. Alisha graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in Interior Design and Marketing from FIDER accredited university, Appalachian State in Boone, NC. She is based in Dallas, TX.
Mary O’Brien, Designer
Mary has 15 years of experience in her career as an interior designer. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Florida State University. She is nationally certified by the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications, is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, and holds a state license in Virginia, where she currently resides. Over the years she has won several awards in many different markets. Specializing in the creation of uniquely chic model homes and personal interior spaces tailored specifically to each client, is Mary’s formula that has broad appeal to all ages and styles.
Christen Lehr, Designer
Christen joined the UBS design team with several years of experience in interior design and project management. Her passion for interior design comes from her love of being creative and incorporating many different styles, colors and materials together to create a unique space. She graduated from The Art Institute of York with a Bachelor’s of Interior Design and currently lives in Baltimore, MD. Following graduation Christen had the opportunity to work with many builders and homeowners looking to renovate and rehabilitate homes in city neighborhoods. She assisted with all interior design specifications and project management. Christen also has a background in Kitchen and Bath design where she worked with clients through all phases of the design process. She loves incorporating color within all projects and values the relationship that is established with her clients.
Melissa Geiger, Designer
Melissa has nearly a decade of experience in the interior design industry. She is a versatile interior design professional skilled in covering all details from beginning to end within every project. Her experience includes high-end residential design, model home merchandising, and corporate design. She graduated from the International Academy of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Outside of design, she enjoys traveling, live music, and spending time with family and friends. She currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida with her husband and young daughter.
Liz Dulacki, Designer
Liz realized her passion for design early in life and then followed her Kitchen Designer mother into the industry. She graduated from Colorado State University with her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Liz now has over 16 years of experience in the design industry, focusing her career on the model home merchandising and high-end residential areas. Liz loves the fast-paced nature of designing model homes and enjoys traveing around the country for the installs! She is a Denver native and still resides there with her 16-year old dog, Lulu.
Melanie Farrell, Designer
Melanie’s love of residential design began at a young age growing up around her Parent’s custom home business and her Grandfather’s drafting board. After earning her design degree from the University of Florida over 10 years ago, she went on to work in a variety of design related fields that have given her a unique perspective of the industry. Working in new construction, remodeling, home staging, furniture and design sales and e-design has given her a vast understanding of both the clients needs and endless possibilities for every project no matter the size or budget. When not creating beautiful spaces, Melanie loves to spend time with her husband and 3 kids either traveling in their RV or relaxing in their Newnan, GA home.
Savannah Wiersma, Designer
Savannah graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors in Interior Design. Her love for design began as a child, constantly rearranging her bedroom, flipping through design magazines, and sketching floorplans during spare time at school. While having a passion for all types of design, model home design has specifically become the focus of her career. She has experience in both production and custom build model home design and loves the possibility and creativity each design brings to a new project. Outside of design, her interests include travel, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Maggie Smoller, Designer
Maggie joined the UBS team with years of experience in the Residential Interior Design field and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. With a background in model home merchandising, both high-end and budget friendly residential design, Interior Staging, and E-Design, she uses her technical knowledge in the field combined with her passion for design, renovations, and DIY to create well-designed and functional spaces for her clients. Maggie has run a successful Interior Design and Home Decor Blog since 2013 as a way to make beautiful design accessible to others and share her passion for “all things home.” Outside of work, she currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and loves spending time with friends and family, especially her husband Joe, step-son Carter, and their sweet dog, Berkley.
Jennifer Jensen, Designer
Jennifer’s interest in interior design developed during her childhood, when her family moved every year or two for her dad’s job. While the rest of hr family begrudged yet another move, Jennifer looked forward to helping her mom decorate each new home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Liberty University in 2011 and became a Certified Home Stager soon after. Her experience includes interior design, kitchen and bath design, custom furniture, and home staging. She has several years of experience working with home builders, specifying kitchens and bathrooms, and designing finished spaces. She enjoys giving each project its own unique flare, and some of her favorite spaces to create are kids’ rooms.
